I'm removing some Terra Cotta floor tile. Are there any issues with the dust being toxic?

no-- don't make dusting powder of it-- wouldn't hurt to wear a mask just to keep extra junk out of your lungs--

If the clay is real Terra cotta, it could contain lead. The maker of the tile would disclose such information.

No, at least not that I know of. Terra cotta is just bisque fired red earthen ware clay.
