For my 16th (last month) I had friends over in my basement. Its full of games (ping pong, pinball, air hockey) and everyone just had fun there. My friends are in a band and they agreed to play (well, my mom payed them, but same thing) and that was great too. Anything with close friends will do the trick. Good luck!

Our Aquatic center here provides a nice party package for a reasonable fee, so check yours, if there is one where you live, that would be fun, I think. Have,nt been around many 16 yr olds lately.

pineapples, mangos, big honey smoked spiral cut ham with peewee rolls.
I did that for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen B-party.

Buy her a colorful luau dress, pull her hair up on top of her head and put flowers in her hair.

What's your planned range for spending. For my 15th I went to bowling alley, it was really fun (great exercise) and relatively inexpensive.

Have her friends over for a slummber party and do makeovers on the girls ( hair- makeup) Then go to movies and pizza

Let her have friends over. For added effect, you could let her drive while you ride with her to go pick her friends up.

i think taking them rollerskating is fun my mother used to do that for me @ that age ,and i did it for my son @ that age as well ,they all had a good time
