Anything that you do to increase air flow through the motor will improve horsepower. K&N Airfilter or other high flow air filter and free flowing exhaust like Flowmaster are great improvments. Also you can add a throttle body spacer, Believe it or not these things work. As far as a computer chip you have to contact your local parts store to order one. They are very vehicle sensitive and have to have the right options on them to work correctly. Also moving up to a good spark plug can help with power and economy. They are expensive but worth the money.
