OWNS gas and oil companies. we're scr*******. No wonder no one in authority does anything about gas prices. I did not know this. Is this common knowledge, or is it just me that didn't know?

First I heard of it. Seems to go against what you would expect. His investments should be in blind trusts.

When his stock portfolio was disclosed yes it was shown he has holding in gas and oil companies.... anyone who has a good diversified stock portfolio usually does. There are clauses that go along with certain positions in government offices..... such as with the President. There are actually certain trades he can't make since he would be in a position of influence over areas of the economy. You can see more at thestreet.com

I think its just you, the gas prices are sooo high that only the president could make them any higher, which he probably will.
