I have a legal copy of Halo: combat evolved for the PC. I lost the product key though. Can I retrieve it?

I have a legal copy of Halo: combat evolved for the PC. I lost the product key though. Is there a way to retrieve it? It's a 25 digit key in the form of :
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx (numbers and letters)

Open Halo. Go to "Preferences" or "Help" ["about Halo"] and see if the number is listed there.

Also, just e-mail (or call) the company and tell them you lost it. They can help you retrieve it, no doubt, or tell you where it is stored on your computer.

I had a product key to a product &, while exploring menus on my computer, found it stored. (I can't remember what product or where I found it...) Halo may have its key stored as well.
