I miss my first dog I ever had. He died in March of 1987, he was 22 yrs. old. He was more than a dog to me, he was my best friend while I was growing up. He was a mixed dog, part Schnauzer part Welsh Terrier. He was kind and gentle and didn't have a mean bone in his body. He always knew when I was sad and blue and everytime I stepped outside and sat on the porch, he would bump my right arm up and he would always put his front left leg on my lap and look up to me as if to say " I know your upset, tell me about it, I won't tell anyone" He always had a smile on his face and there were many times I used to cry in his furr and hug him and have long conversations with him.
He was great with my nephews and would let them bury him in the sand and take rides on his back. He was a great listener and a super companion. I've had other dogs and cats after him, but no matter which animal I have, they can't hold a candle to my first dog. His name was Bubbles. I know I will see him again in Heaven. I can picture him greeting everyone who comes thru the Pearly Gates. I look forward to giving him a great big hug and kiss and smelling his furr and talking long talks to him. I love you Bubbles and I hope to see you soon.
What about you? Who do you miss the most?

My young self, my childhood mother, my childhood sister, my niece as a baby, my ex bf when he was nice, my grandfather before the fallout, my cody bear cat that got ill last year and is dead now, my first second and third loves..... wish I knew then now - I was stupid then and lost touch with them all. The first , Rusty - married the girl he dated after me, the second Richard, I broke up with and wished that I had not, he is now married and lives in another state with wife and kids, but I hear he is not happy, and the third, Bob, he moved away with work and I could have held onto him better and maybe he would have been my husband one day... wonder where he is and if he ever did get married. He wanted to wait for another ten years and I could not see him being in my future with plans that far away in his mind.... now almost 20 years later I am still single. Thanks for the question... gave me some thinking time about some wonderful memories.
