go to wal mart get a home dry cleaning kit it is a bag you put the garment into with a package of the dry cleaning agent that comes with it and you put it in your dryer per the directions it will clean it and remove the smoke smell the smell is staying because of the nicotine in the fabric
and you can dryclean silk I have been through 6 proms with 2 girls

If you cannot wash it,dryclean it,or get it wet,then hanging outdoors in the fresh air is about all you can do.

Soak it in a solution of water and baking soda, then throw it in the wash,, dry with a sheet of Bounce.

all you have to do is use 2 or 3 table spoons of your laundry soap in the sink with cold water put what article of clothing and let it soak for an hour or so

not to sound mean, but have you washed it..
if so and it still smells wash it again, then hang it outside to dry, then give it a spritz of febreeze
