me and my girlfriend have been together for 3 months;however, today her mom banned me from ever talking to or seeing my girlfriend again . I have always been respectful to her and her family, I have never cheated on her or anything

well, first of all i feel like her mother should stay out of your relationship.... you seem to be a nice and respectful guy... it's hard sometimes when you try to get along with your girlfriend/boyfriend's family and can't.... it takes a lot out of the relationship between you and the opposite sex... they sometimes feel like they are caught in the middle and has to choose... don't give up on her or on love... i think if she realize that you love her daughter in time she will come around....

Well, I've never had problems with the mothers, or fathers, but that's just because I'm a real charmer! I'm a saint and I'm full of charisma. Parents love me. So, please, here's some advice:
1) You have to be under your best behavior when they are around. Be polite and respectful.
2) Offer to help! Don't be lazy!
3) Don't dress like a bum or hooldum. They want to like you, but if you look like a jerk, they'll think you're a jerk.
4) Spend more time with the family. This is time for you to connect. If this isn't possible because you're not welcome in the home, it's usually because the family has problems, and it's not really your fault. At that point, nothing you can do will influence anyone. Family's that don't welcome friends into the homes have problems. This brings up another point that addresses your question: If the mother doesn't like you, it may be because she doesn't like her daughter. Generally mothers are friendly to their kids' friends, unless the friend did something wrong. You say you didn't do anything wrong, so don't worry about it. It's not you.
5) If they speak a different language, learn some of it. My Spanish and Mandarin were never perfect, but I tried, learned quite a bit and they appreciate the effort.
6) Bring over gifts for the family. Littles things like sweets go a long way. It shows that you care, and it makes you look like a future provider!
7) If you have to, tell them how much you love their daughter and how much the family means to you.
Anyway, follow these tips and the parents will know you're a good guy.

talk 2 her one on one. it shows that u really care about her daughter enough 2 talk 2 her. 2 a mother, 3 months is a short time. my bf & me have been dating for a year & 9 months & my mom is starting 2 let me do more w/ him. it takes time & trust.
