Seconday Infertility is SO very common. You are not alone! And relaxing is easier said that done. If you have been trying for a year...your best bet is to head to your doctor for a basic fertility workup. Find out what is going on for you.

If it's less than a year......hang in there. The average woman takes 6 to 8 months to conceive.

I would suggest you read the book, _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. She talks about this precise question--how to take your mind off it. Her suggestion is that you chart your cycle. When you know you are ovulating, you can "try"; other times during the month, you can relax and enjoy your relationship.

Trying to get pregnant will *not* (in and of itself) make you less likely to get pregnant. If anything, it will *improve* your odds. Relaxing is not an effective infertility treatment.
