Like when the graphics get so good that you can't tell from real life. I'm imagining 20 years if you consider what graphics looked like in 1986.

Pretty soon it's going to look completely real.
Until then, the closest thing we have is the PS3 (when it comes out). Here's a few screenshots from The Getaway 3, which will be on the PS3:

I think the just about there now. I have Xbox 360 and the graphics are awesome. My favorite is a game called Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the wilderness surroundings look a photograph WITHOUT high definition.The system is less than a year old, just wait to the figure out how to push the 360 to the max like they did with the original xbox. Also the same will happen with PS3.

the graphics changed a lot from just a couple years ago. i wouldn't be surprised if there are realistic graphics in 2 or 3 years from now.

I was able to look at some of the new stuff coming out and I tell you what, it looks real good right now, I had to look real close to see if it was a real person or a cg

i think about 2-5 years b/c if u played xbox 360 they almost got it to look like real life.

It wont be long before they look BETTER than real life.
If you check out some of the games they have today, with high definition and all, you'd be pretty amazed.
