how do i tame my python are how do i pick it up?

i have a little snake and i was wondering what i need to do to be able to pick it up

Be sure to wash your hands. IF, you have handled a mouse, rat or bird the Snake may Strike at the movement of your hands. IF, you afraid come from behind it's head so it not see your movement as much. Normally, if, they well fed they not too aggresive. The more you handle the Snake the better it will tame (Not really think you can tame). IF, it ever do Strike you and latch on just stay calm and hold its tail so it can not wrap you. STAY CALM this is not a poision snake!!!! IF, you try to jerk your hand from its mouth you just rip your hand. The teeth lean back toward its throat to hold the prey from escaping. Pulling your hand just pull the teeth deeper into you. What I do is Relax and hold it under running water and when it let go throw it in the Bathtub until it calm down. BUT, they only do this when they in a feeding state, usually brought on by Smell of those mentioned previously. Just wash your hands first.
I fed mine live Rats, she was about 8 feet long. Normally people do say to feed dead mice/rats. IF, it small it may be best to feed dead mice until it get a good strike down. Mice/Rats can win this fight and kill your snake, though I have never seen it happen, others have.
pimpett4544 is correct too. The more the snake handled the better it be around people.

You need to reasonablely heated hands they go to the hotest place they can since around you . you need to alway keep track of where its head is . dont get rough with it . dont know how small this snake is ... but feeding is quick keeping your hands away during feeding . start with new born mice .called pinkys .. than to a few mos old rats {male ones alway are feeders } you plain on keeping this snake ..raise your own rats two females will keep you in all the food you'll need with one male .. rember that if you keep it wearm all the time lots of water in sorta deep bowl ...and light on top of cage that it cant get out of and burn itself if it does get nelsporin put on the burn two times a day little at at time they breath though their skin ... it should eat two times a mo. ..unless its sheding look for a milky coloring in eyes they wont eat then till they shed on rough rock or stick in cage which needs to large in every way with durt on botten a good potting soil only with compost base not a lot of stuff they put in for flowers these days oh they lay in the water alot it helps to get all it needs from it food live pray always never hand it something dead ....as a rule theyll not eat it ok ....thats about it good luck on it

Snakes are what Satan was. I would get rid of your snake before it turns Satan on you. Lol, but that's just me. What another person would say is, go to your local pet store and ask them if they know how to train a snake.
