Marriage seems abnmormal to me. Can a person really love another so strong that they want to be together until death do them part. Why? Does God create somebody for everybody? I don't get it...maybe I'm selfish.

It's natural for two people who really love each other.
My parents did.

Marriage isn't unnatural at all. It is the way God intended for a relationship to be. Two opposites that complete each other to make one perfect relationship. It is true that it is far from easy, but that is due to our own selfishness. Once you come to the realization that our love is to be used to fulfill the wants, needs, and desires of our spouse and not our own, the marriage takes on new meaning.

Through maturity and wisdom people should come to the conclusion that Love isn't merely a feeling or emotion. It is choice that we make to be come selfless to complete our spouse. Of course, going against our selfishness is very difficult. But the things that are worth the most are usually the most difficult to obtain.

Marriage is a business. Things need to be discussed in a legal forum, pre-nump. . Arranged marriages last longer. Everybody expects something . Get it out on the table so no one is disappointed. Renegotiate after a year if expectation aren't met. And it's not about love. It's more about respect. If you respect another person you won't bring any harm in any fashion.

MARRIAGE IS NOT A NECESSARY THING....... one is always independed, thats how life is, you start off alone and on your way you find companions to help you out and make you learn such as friends and boyfriends ect...
you dont need a boy/girl friend to be happy, you need one to learn more about yourself, and when you find one person that makes you learn about yourself more and more it turns into love, it doesnt mean you cant leave without them........
it means that that certain things that makes you learn more about yourself is formed into huge attraction... the soul is always testing itself thats why we have different tastes......... marriage is a cool thing.. but not everyone has to be married at some point...... you can be free and happy at the same time as long as you know your self-.----

I'm not sure. I've only been in love one time & I still can't imagine only being with him til death do us part. All of my married friends are miserable. I don't want that. I'm a happy person, I don't ever want that to change. But I think if I were to merge my life with his, I wuld become unhappy.

Yes, but only if they really love each other. If they think they should get married simply because they think they should be. Not saying to each other "we both are good looking and have enough money and well educated and we are both sexy..etc" These marages never work out.

Yup, guess everyone's parents does...that's how we end up existing anyway
:-P

It's just one of those funny things in life...

When we're not "married"

our family is the most important people in our life...
the "she" come in...

and then "she" became the most important people in our life this time...

Two person, no relation in blood...
and would probably understand "her" less than one's own family less...
Yet~
they are our MOST important ones in life!

Because of love...(nothing much is truly Logic)
