U can only see them on whites, but I am sure they are on all the clothes. Can't see any on my white towels, just clothes.

You have iron mineral deposits in your water usually if you have well water or maybe certain cities have different water which causes this problem. Try Lime Away or CLR per direction in the washer to see if this solves the problem. It might also be that your washer and dryer may need to be replaced if that's the last alternative. Hope this helps. Good luck!! Just also thought you should know it could be rust in the water and if in fact that is true, maybe someone would know how to take care of that problem.

I have the same problem, mine is our water. I have to get IRON OUT, you can buy at the store. Also you have to catch it before you put it in the dryer, because it sets the stains. I just wash my whites over with the iron out. Good luck.

You have the dryer up too high that its burning your clothes, try the permanent press setting.

depends on if the brown spots look like those holes from the washer then it could be the water content. It could be that your drier is too hot and is scortching your clothing.

Try checking for rust in either of the machines, or make sure there isn't a penny in your washer.
