sing songs of worship and praise to the goddess and all women in general. theirs is a hard life for the choice of having children. we must respect that. the full moon is the mother in her total glory and the new moon is her time of the month so to speak! but the moon having a cycle of 28 days the same as a womans menstral cycle is why pagans always worshiped the moon as the mother goddess. full moons were and are today a witches excuse to party!

Well, we invoke the Celtic deities(male & female) in honor of them during a ritual. The moon is associated with the goddess or feminine aspects. The full moon is a very powerful time to weave magick. It happens every 28 1/2 days and so does the female mentruation period. It affects people very strangely and differently. The person talking about births, this is true but so are deaths. Look in the local obituararies, you will see that most deaths occur on or near the full moon. Some herbs or plants can be planted at the full moon for good growing.

Our neighbor says she feels like howling! I think she has seen too many horror films.

Nothing. Thats not what the moon does. The moon brings the more subtle bodies to the surface. The new moon is a start of that certain cycle (Pisces, leo, cancer, etc.) and up to the full moon, which the full moon is the peak of the cycle, you are in a good position to start things. Anything appropriate to the cycle. Then when the full moon hits, yes, I think a night with one's partner is one of the best things to do, only because emotions are the strongest. Then when the moon starts the second half back to the next new moon, this is a good time to finish up your projects or anything else you have started. The full moon helps me be myself, and know myself. The moon is the female aspect of one's self, and the sun is the male aspect of one's self. We all have both sides within all of us. I surely do love to take a walk during a full moon's night. Indeed I do.

I usually get a burst of energy and if I am with a guy -well- you can figure out the rest of that, but if I am just by myself, I will go for a long walk or hike. I have to be busy and active. Full moons are so beautiful and it is almost magical/mystical in a way. I just find it inspirational and just need to move.

Light candles, cleanse my crystals, read my cards, do rituals, make herbal teas, etc. Is also a good time to be with spiritual friends and disscuss the mysteries. Don't go there; all clothes stay on. Last night we had a beautiful ritual at a Celtic Fairy Festival. Just simple chants and prayers for peace. I love full moon energy.

I think about my favorite person in the world, my best friend, when I see a full moon. He may be 14 and a half years older than me, and we may not be biologically or legally related in any way (except that we are brother and sister in Christ since we are both strong Christians), but we are way closer than ANY biological brother and sister!!!!!!! He is my best best bestest friend and my role model. He's a wonderful, fabulous, amazing actor who just recently played the title role in a professional production of "Hamlet" and he is SO awesome!!!! I was in it to, with a minor part. I always watch him in awe when he's on the stage, because he's just so wonderful. Everyone I know agrees that he is a fabulous actor, so it's not just my biased opinion. He is sooooo awesome!!!!!

Whenever I look at the moon, I think of my "big brother". And when I look at the brightest star in the east, I think of my crush. We aren't close, and I don't know if he even ever thinks of me (he lives a long ways away from me and I haven't seen him in months), but I love him. He's not just a crush, he's really love. And he's the same age as me. It's rare that I've ever liked someone who is the same age as me. Before, I tended to go for older men. :-) Lol. But now I'm down to one man I love in that way (though I love my "big brother" just as much in the brother/sister way), and it's going to stay that way. He's my man, whether he realizes that or not. So I think of him when I see the bright east star. And I think of my big bro when I see the moon.

I also cry when I see the moon, though, because since it makes me think of my big bro, it makes me want to be with him RIGHT then, and I can't be. I mean, we were just in "Hamlet" together, but we won't see each other for a while now. He is really busy in the day, and we can't always see each other. He DID say that he really wants to hang out with me often, doing stuff like dinner and movies and just plain hanging out (which made me shriek with glee!!!), but my mom said we only have time for stuff like that once a month, and that made me soooo mad at her. I can't see him ONLY once a month! No!! :-( I need him more than that. Plus, he's not only my "big bro", but he's my confidante and my support and encouragement. His job is ministry towards teens about abstinence until marriage. That's totally awesome!!! And he's great at helping with relationship problems, so I come to him for that. I'm not really allowed to use email right now, so I can't really email him, but maybe I can call him a lot. There's an idea. :-) I'm glad I thought of it.

Wow. I've sure written a lot about my emotional problems and issues and all that, huh? SORRY!!!!! You probably think I'm weird or something, but oh well!!!!! I just hope I'm not wasting your time!! Lol. :-)
