This is a highly debateable topic. I, for one, do consider it a sport. It requires physical activity, and takes skills similar to other sports, such as teamwork, communication, and physical fitness. With paintball growing larger everyday, now even appearing on ESPN, it will soon be considered a sport alongside other extreme sports like skateboarding and BMX.
