The inherent problem is that I-Pod and I-tunes were designed to create for apple an MP3 monopoly, destroying American competition and leaving us, as a society, doomed!!! Before we know it Apple I-Pod robot commandos will at our doors strangling our pet fish and stealing our toilet paper!

an MP3 is a song, a MP4 is usually a video, iPods play MP4 videos, if you have an iPod video you would have to convert your videos to mp4 if they are not already. Ipod doesn't support mpg videos or MOV.

ipods definately do noe have problems, i have one and i absoloutely love it. mp3s play music files, and will hold word documents. mp4s will play videos and store pictures

mp4 can be video as well as audio.. ipod's can play mp4's.. at least the video ones can

mp3s are music(songs) and mp4s are music videos.
