There are ovulation kits available at most pharmacies that will help you determine the right "day" for you. If you have fertility issues (you have been trying unsuccessfully for at least 2 years to get pregnant) then you need to see your doctor to ensure that there are no physical issues with getting pregnant that might be stopping you. Good Luck.

12-14 days after your period is a good time to try. Take your temperature, it rises when you are ovalating, so that's a key time to have sex. You have to relax because stress and anxiety can raise havoc with getting pregnant too. Also I have heard, don't know if it's true but some women lay down hips elevated for an hour after sex in the hopes the sperm will go higher to help conceive.

If you have tried all the regular stuff, and really are not sure why you are not getting pregnant, have the doctor run a fasting blood insulin test. My niece (a 25 year old ) was having difficulty and her doctor ran one. She was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries (unfortunately, a more common problem that is suspected). They put her on the same oral medication that I was on (I am a 51 year old diabetic) and got her blood sugar under control, which allowed her to conceive.

Insulin and high blood sugar can play havoc with feminine hormones, causing difficulties with conception, periods, and most other facets of being a female.
