I am from the Philippines and marriage annullment has not yet really been legalized here yet, I guess!

My marriage with my husband's totally not working well. He agreed we will separate and allowed me to leave and go where and whom I would like to go with. But he doesn't even want it to be legalized. There is legal separation, but he wouldn't even go for that too even if I will be the one to pay for everything. It's really not fair. I really want to start a new relationship and start a new life with the right man. I am really a good person. It's just so unfair he doesn't set me totally free. I really do not know what to do to convince him. I am really sad and so desperate about this situation. Sigh..

Maybe he believe in "until death do you part!" But there is two sides to a story when it comes down to fallen marriages. Maybe he feel that he will give you that opportunity to separate to see if that is really what you want. He may be speaking and allowing one thing but yet he is feeling something else. It's not that easy to walk straight out of marriages sometimes without some kind of complications being involved.

You dont have to convince him, it is "divorce" that we dont have but annulment is legal and it will cost you around $2500. Some of my friends have been through the process and it takes about 6 months depending on the grounds...All you have to do is see a lawyer that specializes in marriage annulments. Your husband could be hoping that by not giving you one, there is still hope for you to reconsider someday...If you're not happy with him and would like to try it again, go girl and do it right next time. Now, in regards to your question of would anyone will ever accept you, that's a "YES", look around you, how many people leave their marriage for someone else? Just be the person you are and try not to hide what you've been through..Im sure there is someone out there meant for you be it 2nd time or 3rd time around. goodluck! your happiness in your hands.

You should not live with a man before marriage ever for that matter. However you should not even start dating or even seeing other men untio your divorce or annullment is final! You also need counseling and help to start to heal from the pain and move on slowly over time!
