I have been monitoring my cycles for the last 8 months, and have had a regular cycle (between 26 - 29 days) for the last 2 months. This is the first month that my husband and I have had sex during ovulation (as best as I can guess). I may have ovulated as early as June 6 and today I am spotting a pinkish/brownish color. Could this be implantation bleeding? Everything I read says it is not very common. Has this happened to other women? I also have some slight cramping on one side (mild, not like heavy period cramps)

It's faily common. Sometimes there is so little spotting that most women never even notice it.

Whilst implantation bleeding does occur, it is not very common.

Implantation bleeding occurs after the fetus implants itself into the uterine wall, often around 10 days after conception. This is why many women who have implantation bleeding, mistake it for an early period.

Implantation bleeding is usually light enough not to even soak a pad. It is more like 'spotting'. This is because only a section of the lining is shed. It is also the reason why it does not usually last as long as a normal period.

Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse

Go and get a blood test done. a blood test will show you are pregnant 6 days after conception.

I had implantation bleeding with 2 of my 3 pregnancies. From what I see and read on the internet, it sounds common. But so many people say its rare. I dont know. I know I had it 2 times though.(maybe even with my first but that was 9 years ago and I didnt know what I was looking for , or didnt know I was pregnant until I was about 9 weeks. So maybe I had it and didnt know it.)

could be,implantation occurs 5-12 days after the egg is fertilized....IF you do get implantation bleeding it will be a pinkish/brownish color and spotting- very, very light bleed that should only last a day or two.
