Honestly, I love working different shifts from my husband. He and I have much more to talk about when we are together and we really look forward to seeing each other when we do have off together.

I can only imagine what kind of pain in the behind can working different shifts be.

I believe, when you love each other and care for each other a lot, nothing else matters and you both can meet at the times when you don't have to work. You can call each other and talk to one another whenever you'd like. If you'd like you can talk to your boss and rearrange the hours at your new job so that way at least you won't work untill the night-time, but still keeping the same number of working hours and he won't go to bed all by himself without you by his side. Caring and professional manager will understand your problem, and he/she will be glad to help you out in any way they can. This way you'll be able to see your boyfriend and go out for a movie, or stay at home enjoying each other's company.

my husband and i worked together when we first got married. we were together 24/7. it was fun at first, then we wound up seperating for six months. he went the the night shift while i stayed on the day shift. it worked out when we had kids. didn't have to pay for daycare. it has it's disadvantages! we never see each other! he has only one day off and he's asleep when i get home from work and i'm at work when he gets off. i'm lonely and in deseperate need of someone at home with me at night. you might think about what you are about to do. i hope it works out for you!

Not always bad, if you are both really in love and can be trusted, you will be just fine,
