Their not supppose too. Most Coy fishes get along with their own family types from Gold fish to tropical yearlings. If you have a Gold Fish that wants to eat another fish have it checked out to make sure it doesn;t have the Pirhanna breed in it...lol just kidding. you shouldn;t have a problem, but fish are replaceable.

Goldfish are herbivores. Never heard of them eating other fish. As for the person who said she had 2 goldfish and 1 was gone in the morning, did you check all around to see if 1 had jumped out? Do you have a cat? Did someone play a trick on you?

I know I had 2 goldfish one time and I woke up the next morning and there was only 1. I dont know why the other goldfish ate it.

Yes. Goldfish tend to pick on and eat sick and dying fish. I see it often.

i don't know about gold fish but my palpal fish eat them i go over there and i be like palpal what happen 2 the fish he be like that fish ate him then all i see is bones so problem so.

they will not eat each other alive. but if one dies they do bite at it.
