I don't know, I "hunt and gather" every week at the grocery store...LOL.
But to answer your question more to the point, Yes, I have no doubt I could live off the land should I have to do so. As a teen and post parent's divorce, we were very poor and I had to carry buckets of water for a family of 9 people from a well a mile each way. We ate beans, potatoes and popcorn. I have no doubt that I would find a way if need be.

In theory, I know enough to survive in a hostile environment as a hunter/gatherer, so long as I can find running water and make a fire. Scavenging is also an option.

The hunter and the gatherer were usually spearate people. Gatherers, of course being female. Yes. I would survive

I could and would survive; I've always believed that people should follow that particular lifestyle.
However, I also think that I shoud take what I can get at the easiest price. You might consider me more of a scavenger.

If I had weaponry, I could hunt, maybe. I don't know which berries and such are poisonious, so gathering is out. Parasite...maybe.

maybe I could, but do I really want to, no it would suck, besides there would be about 5 billion deaths until a stable sustainable populatoin was reached, and probably more since we have so messed up this world.
