well depends on if the carnival takes care of it i have seen it a few times would never ride it but no many that have they are all still here but the one carnival around my town had it and it was in bad shape don't know anyone that rode it there so if your not afraid of rides look at the condtion of the ride and it looks like it is taken care of go for it but even look at the seat belts i seen similar rides where seat belts have came on done i know a lot about carnival rides cause my husband use to help his friends who own a carnival but they did not have a zipper they had a spinner which you has to make go upside down on your own and the zipper does all the work for you.

If taken care of, then Yes the Zipper is safe. Also something that most people failed to mention is that prior to the opening of the event, each and every ride on the lot is Inspected. In most states, it is inspected from an Official from the State.
Is the Zipper fun?? Oh yeah. One of my favorites to ride. I recommend it.

Finding a carnival ride that is truly safe is quite difficult. It is fun, though.
Amazing how taking one's life and shoving it into the hands of a man payed to throw a switch can be so exciting.

Maybe that's half the fun.

If you mean carnival as in something put up and taken down and moved around to another town???
I would not feel safe on the merry go round.

I just rode it about 20 times this weekend and do it every summer. Never heard of accidents. Its fun to ride too!

i think it is perfectly safe, but in dripping springs, texas, a little kid died on it, so it makes you think twice...........
