These people have been held for 4 and a half years with no charges brought and no trials! They have been effectively kidnapped. It is desparate there now with the hangings and starvation and who can blame them? Imagine this was one of your family members?
What can we do as Americans? This is totally against the Constition and writing to our senators, etc. hasn't helped, from what I can tell.
If they are guilty, then charge them and try them, if not-Send Them Home!
Anyone?

If these were Americans detained for this amount of time in another country we would do what we seem to do best....go to war. I don't think we should just let them go, but I do think they should be tried in an American Court of Law.

There have been some cases called the "Insular Cases" that may help you to understand how the Constitution is applied beyond the 50 states. The United States government classifies these prisoners akin to a POW, which is a grey area since the current conflict may or may not be considered a 'war.' It is certainly up to Americans to decide, as we are the government.

Closed yesterday it´s too late. Why we loose the moral, if they are terrorist OK proved and send then to jail. But I believe EVERY BODY IS NOT GUILTY UNTIL A JUDGE SAY THE OPPOSITE. What happen if in the future the government use the same system here in the US with Americans (sure in name of the country), are you sure this can´t be done.

"Hangings & Starvation", or "Suicides & Hunger Strikes" either way we need to utilize them for cheap labor. Perhaps applying glue to book bindings for short run publishers.
