No way! I've been disappointed the last few years with their drafts, I thought this year might be different with Art Shell back. I think Brooks at qb is allright, but how can you pass on home town fav. Leinert? Even if you don't keep him, good trade value. If you don't take him, I think protecting Brooks is more important and you could get quality defense in the later rounds.

They need all the help in the secondary that they can get... that was a great pick because the raiders are a hard nosed defensive team that plays alot of tight coverage. Huff is perfect for this type of style, he made a living at Texas playing up on the line of scrimmage being versatile in the run game as well as in the pass game.

Yes they made a great choice Micheal Huff was to me the best Safety.
The Raiders have put a good team together now they will rise from Raider Nation and i say Super Bowl Bound.
I believe in Aaron Brooks he is my favorite QB and I'm glad we was lucky enough to get him.
Micheal Huff will fit in good.
Aaron said around 3 or 4 weeks back, That he was in the locker room before there first practice and Randy Moss walk bye him and patted him on the back.
Aaron said he felt great being able to pass the ball to such a great WR and this year watch them two hook up!
K.C its our turn you will lose finally !!!!!!!!

Yes I think they did, but the answer won't be told until the season. Its really this simple;
1) If Huff turns out to be the next Ronnie Lott they made a great choice.
2) If Lienart turns out to be the next Montana or Young they messed up its a coin flip unless;
3) Lienart is a huge success and Huff is another defensive back failure like Aso, Stu, Washtington and Routte....(a little early to call them all failures but hey - none made the pro bowl did they). Then its a terrible draft.
4) If Huff turns out pro bowl material and Lienart is the next Leaf...Raiders did awesome.

Yeah, Huff is a pretty good pick for the Raiders. Hopefully it pays off this season.

Yes. Their weakest link is the secondary. He adds versitality. Really they shoud have hung on to Woodson and landed a good DE, or linebacker such as Greenway. I like Bing , he and Huff will be a good tandem.

I guess, but they could have taken better players than a CB/S that high in the draft. He is not a huge need, but if he becomes a Roy Williams or Rodney Harrison he will be justified.
