1 week wouldn't be long enough to get any legislation through congress, unless it bypassed the committees and went straight to the floor, and it could get a majority vote. I suppose you could get one bill through both houses in a week in that situation. So the first thing would be the only thing.

I would push for publicly funded elections. That's the easiest way to take the money out of politics and would cost at most 5% of the pentagon's current budget. After that, the rest of it falls in line because you wouldn't need to be rich to run for office.

3.Fire the VA Secretary and publicly blast him for incompetence.
4. Appoint myself as VA Secretary. I can clean house, and I DON'T GIVE A S***.
5. Put out an Executive order disbanding the marine corps and incorporating it into the Army. Why pay for two armies and three air forces?

i would let all of the kids go free without any school, in which i am a child rather a preteen. But if i were older i would try and pay back all the money that the government owes. Then i will try and make peace with all nations. I know I'm just smart like that.

I'd completey bar any use of any weapon on any country and then I would sit down and talk to the others about doing the same. Until we stop with a war attitude and weapons we can never hope for peace.

seek to end the corruption in all 3 branches of Government ...and try to get both Republicans and Democrats and Independents..etc... to set their differences aside and work together to make things work for everyone so that everybody is happy and everyone feels like they have put their input in, and it was heard and taken into account.

Basics--Nation Health-so all could afford it
Protection-Secure all that we can
Environment-make sure we have land for houseing and growing and animals
Food- and enough land to grow it. that could feed us all here and we wouldn't have to depend on any others country ever. And not allow FDA to allow poisons in our food and water.ect.

Basic stuff to life first-we can go from there.
