i think you should still talk to your mom. i mean, she's the one who bore you when you were a baby and i think it'd be the best if you talked to her instead of anybody else. and you're going to have to tell her eventually, because you can't live for, like, five more years without her finding out.
but if you're really reluctant..
talk to your friends, the school nurse, or any other female you can trust.

If you cant talk to your mom about it, then who can you talk to? You can talk to your school nurse, talk to your doctor, research on the web. You can talk to your frineds or any of your female family members. Just remember that you cn always talk to your mom. She understands, she is a girl too.

maybe a freinds mother or an aunt or another female in the family. i just hope you find someone you feel comfortable talking to. i don't understand why you won't talk to your mom about it my daughter is only nine and we have talked a lot about it cause i was young and don't want her not to be prepared. and i hope when it does happer she will come to me. but if you ad your mom aren't close good luck finding someone to talk to but she will find out because moms find out everything and there are necessities you need when you have it

You could talk to ANY older girl that has gotten it already. You could also try your local chapter of Planned Parenthood. They maintain your privacy and are used to dealing with young adults. They will talk to you and TRUST me...there is NOTHING they haven't heard before and there are no stupid questions.

talk to a friend who's of same age or older whom you trust.
but remember that if u go for such information, it could just be a second hand and they might transfer their prejudices/beliefs to you.
for factual knowledge try net
