I realize I am stepping out on a limb here, 'cause God knows this is a tender subject. But I am asking you, with love in my heart towards all, how long will I be persecuted for something I had no part of - but punished for simply because I am white? Hasn't every culture done another wrong in history? Most cultures have been slaves at one point in time, have they not? Thank God we evolved to a more civil society though slavery has left its stain on the human race - to both sides who participated (those who bought and those who sold).

But my point (and question) is this, here in America what will it take to make ammends for the wrong white people did before my time to black people? At what point can we get past this and move forward? When can we say the slate is wiped clean and now we can begin again as Americans, diverse but as one?

It will never be clean, because blacks won't let it. My grandfather came from Hungary, and my father was the first one born here. So I have absolutely no ties to what happened, yet I have to get glared at by blacks (as if I owe them a food stamp because I am white). The real kicker of it all is that if they would tap into their intelligence just a bit, they would realize the real focus needs to be on AFRICA. AFRICA sold these people to the Americans, AFRICA made a handsome profit from the slave trade. AFRICA pulled these people out of their homes to collect a commission. Slavery did not last long in America until the majority of the whites said, this is wrong!, and chose to fight... to the death.... to free them. Where was AFRICA when it was time to fight for their people?! AFRICA sold them, got rich from their misery, abandoned them, and did not fight for them. Thousands of white men fought and died for their freedom, I think the part of "penance" has been paid. America has bent over backwards catering to the blacks, bending the laws to accomodate them, making things like black radio stations (although white radio stations would be a hate crime), the black expo (although the white expo would be a hate crime), and banning the use of the N word (although if they could not call us honky or craker that would be depriving them of freedom of speech and expression). The white people have done more than enough to say sorry for what happened, but sorry is not what they want. They want to sap off of the misery that people suffered 200 years ago. It is too inspiring to be a victim. Being a normal person isnt fun, you have to work and you get no special breaks. I am glad that my roots are in Hungary, because I seriously doubt the Hungarians would tolerate this kind of ignorance that we are tolerating. Its time to ask AFRICA for some answers.

I have black freinds at work. They are very smart and do their jobs. I hear them talking to their kids on the phone and tell them to mow the yard and don't cut it too short . Water the flowers and so on. These black people play golf and fish and work behind a desk just like I do.

The problems most have answered with have been talking about the lower income blacks. Did you not stop to think there are lower income whites as well? I have tried to help white trash before and if they don't want to improve their lifes they won't. Same for blacks. I was not rich when I was a kid and I went to a black school in Tulsa Ok, I am doing ok for myself now just like the guys I work with.

You have to keep in mind that yes it is white men who run the world. But they were there first and why should they let go of it just because someone is a cry baby and thinks they should rule. Opra is the richest and most powerfull black women in the world.

So go to school learn something and go to work. School is free all the way to 12th grade and if you have good grades it is free for the next 12 years too. Join the gard and learn a trade.

If you are not working or in school it is because it is how you want it not because you can't.

People, Open your minds and climb out of that box.

First of all, excellent answer by Cyndaly; very insightful.

The only things that can change a person's innate behaviors are death, physical disablement, and extortion. Therefore, the solution is this:

1. Make a person's second felony punishable by death. Since so many repeat felons are black, the eradication of those people will improve the reputation of black people in general, and in turn curb anti-black racism.

2. Establish a secret police force. Use it to identify white supremacists, black supremacists (blacks who favor so-called 'affirmative action'), and permissive blind racial egalitarians.

3. Now that most of the black career criminals have been killed, such that white supremacists have less of an excuse, arrest and execute all of the white supremacists. The white supremacists are an annoyance; they correctly state that the blacks commit racism, and yet they also commit racism themselves.

4. Now that there is not even a shred of racism for black-supremacists or permissive blind racial egalitarians to complain about, locate all of those black people that blame their self-induced problems on modern racism from white people, or from slavery that occurred OVER 100 YEARS AGO, and locate all of the permissive genetic egalitarians that believe likewise. Arrest and imprison them all, then torture them for many years to repay society for all of their libellous willful disruption of truth, and after their debt is repayed, give them the luxury of execution.

Finally, after all of those measures are taken, the people that remain will all be truth-seers that get along with eachother. With the white supremacists gone, the criminals gone from the black community, and the blame game over with, the remaining blacks will make progress in attaining a better economic situation by their own effort.

And just how have you a white girl been persecuted in this country for your race? No, you weren't part of slave ownership but all you have to do is look at our nation's government, corporations, etc... to see that white males still hold most, not all of the power. Our country still benefits from racism and until we recognize that and own it nothing will change.
Racism isn't just about slavery. Take a look at statistics concerning justice for whites vs. blacks. Why are black males sent to prison for drug charges at a higher rate than white males? Why are black men put to deat at a higher rate per capita than whites? Look into the history of why we have the slums and ghettos that we do.
I appreciate the sentiment behind your question, but it's naive.

I know the way it is, but forgetting it is the same as supporting it. I"m not saying throw is in white ppl face I"m saying, Remember it because millions died in this strange land hated from the time they was here until they were dead. To me forgetting this will make everything seen Okay because some people do go unpunished for their crimes. My point of view is and I speak for myself, just because other nations had slaves do not mean America has that right. Example if a black hate group kill Innocent whites just because. Then when their trail comes they say "things like this happens" or "Jews were killed too". Then this black hate group say will "why should we be punish, it want bring them back to life" or" if it's okay for America to kill Innocent blacks then why we can't kill Innocent whites". See saying other nations had slaves would be justify America actions. American say that if other nations had slaves, kill millions, etc. Then America can do it to innocent blacks because those thing happen.

In other words if some kill you punishing them won't bring them back. If some one own a slave and mistreat you punish them want change what happen. To me justifing America right to own slaves by saying it "happens" do not do justice to the millions America killed. History tell us America committs war agianst other nations weather it's black tribes or Iraq all the wars have been their fault. Instead of America admitting they had millions of INNOCENT blacks killed for their benefit they say it "happens" or if the "Africans hasn't sold them then we would not have did that" or war in Iraq, instead of admitting that their #1 reason for war was to find nukes, they did not so instead of admitting they were wrong they say we did the right thing, Becuase he was a evil man. Why should America committ crimes against INNOCENT people and alway go unpunish, America will not give fair justice because they never see any wrong in their ways. But remember all nation like America were destoryed by the hand of God. Israel was slaves in Egypt but God destoryed Egypt hundreds of years latter and let others rule the land to this day.

Never as long as some black people can draw breath and complain. I thought I was doing right by not being a racist, but that's not good enough for some people. I have been on the receiving end of much racism by blacks and hispanics. I never once tried to dish it back. So maybe they can tell us when it will end. Sometimes I think the only thing that would appease them is our annihilation.

well make sure you understand ..all blacks are not asking for compensation. some just want an opportunity to get an education and be hired fairly once they do. so dont get every mixed up.. with a few people who want a free ride on the backs of their ancestors. the past was tragic for a lot of people.. but it is time to move on..and forward.

The past is past some people want to keep it alive.
Forget it and move on today counts.

If we look at each other in this way one will see the individual.
