1. To celebrate tonight, I will eat lumpia, chicken BBQ, rice and finish it off with a sans rival slice and Halo-halo. Hmmmm, hmmm....goood!
2. Even though I do not live in the Philippines anymore, I am thankful for the positive aspects of the culture and heritage that is still an essential part of my being.
3. Filipinos in-country are usually too busy eaking out a basic living to think too much about the spirit of celebrating "independence" from a colonial power. But we Balikbayans do!

regret still our country is suffering from colonial rules not from spainards, after all jose rizal is not true hero it should be bonifacio the national hero, we filipinos must break the chains that binds us from poverty and ignorance,
