7 years ago I lost a boyfriend to suicide. He always had problems and unfortunately it wasn't much of a surprise when it happened. When he was feeling good he was a very outgoing and passionate person. Well, I got married to a wonderful person a year ago, he is an incredible person, and I couldn't ask for anything more. The past week I have been depressed and having dreams about my boyfriend who died. We definitely didn't have the best relationship--but a passionate one--I can't get him out of my mind. I would love to here from anyone who has had a similar circumstance. thanks

I know how you feel. My ex-boyfriend commited suicide almost 7 year ago. He was having alot of problems with his mom because she really didn't care about him at all, I was the only person and friend he had that really care about him but most was always there for him. You will never get over losing your ex to suicide because you never have the answer of why they really did it. There is never a day that doesn't go by that I don't think of him or see him in my dream. It's normal to see him in your dream to feel him around because he is letting you know that he is always going to be there for you. I dream about my ex all of the time and that makes me happy because when I am feeling down or I feel like I am forgetting him I just close my eyes and see him and the happy times we share. My ex will always be in heart and I will never get over him committing suicide but I try not to think about that, what I think about is the great times him and I share. If you need to talk email me anything.

WEIRD!!!! This same thing happened to me but it's been 20 years ago. My ex ended up shooting himself when I got married to my husband. It was horrible.I know EXCACTLY what you are feeling. I still to this day have dreams about him.We fought all the time when he was alive but in my dreams we never fight. I know its hard, you don't ever forget but it does get easier as time goes by.

I haven't had a similiar situation, but I have lost someone I cared about. I think that talking about it and expressing yourself is healthy and good for you. I am so sorry for your lost.

I think you should learn to get over the botfriend who killed himself. However good or bad it was. Maybe a good therapist would help. You probably have nothing to blame yourself for.
