1-10....I give it a 9.5. How did you get such a great team? Carson Palmer is going to play amazingly, if not then you got Hasselbeck at backup and he's a starter usually. Horn is going to play great with Brees at QB. Fitzgerald will only improve. Clinton Portis, Corey Dillon, and LaMont Jordan are all good RBs. Jordan will be more effective than last year because their new coach is a run-first type of guy. Holt as a backup WR? That's crazy! Jevon Walker, well he'll do better than last year, don't you think? And Vanderjagt at kicker will always be a great kicker. Carolina's DEF will also be one of the best. Shockey at TE, again will be one of the best.

Since I don't know when you drafted any of the players or who was still available at the time of your draft, I will only comment on the current roster. Also, I do not know how many slots you have for players to boot.
QB: Palmer is a solid choice, especially since his rehab is moving almost lightning fast. With who he has to work with, Carson should be right back where he left off last year with Chad Johnson, Rudi Johnson, and T.J. Houshmanzadeh. Matt Hasselbeck is a solid backup who still has a strong WR corps to work with in Seattle.
RB: Starters should be Portis and Jordan. Corey Dillon has been too injury prone to be reliable and the Patriots addressed that during the draft. Plus, LaMont Jordan became the only positive feature on the Oakland offense that was supposed to be the Randy Moss show. Portis should return to powerhouse starting form quick enough.
WR: Nice grouping, but move Horn to the bench and get Torry Holt on the field. There is a reason why he is called "Big Game". Holt and Fitzgerald will drop more points into your lap than Horn plus one or the other (except during a BYE week). Also, Javon Walker is nice to have, so hold on to him and see how he fits into the Denver aerial assault scheme.
TE: Jeremy Shockey is in the top ten of this position, but he has not been the force that he was expected to develop into since his rookie season. Still, a solid selection with a blossoming offense that he could easily use to get your more points.
K: Vanderjagt is moving to Parcell country. Pray he doesn't screw up or he will feel Bill's annoyance .. er, I mean wrath. Strong leg and experience in a dome will still keep his stock high, but the offense will need to make sure he gets the opportunities to show off his leg. In fact, if the offense does not deliver as well as anticipated, Mikey could end up posting more points than usual.
DEF: Overall, a very good pick. However, with the loss of Ricky Manning Jr., the team did feel some sting. Richard Marshall may be a good replacement, but that has yet to be seen. Still, with the front line (Peppers, Rucker, Jenkins) and a nasty LB corps (especially with Dan Morgan), they will still garner some much needed points for you.

Apparently the guy that gave you a 6.5 thinks you should have LT and LJ at running back with Shaun Alexander as your #3. Holt and Fitz should be your starters and Hasselbeck will be fine for the 1st few weeks until Palmer comes back. Walker on the bench is a great sleeper this year as he will be legit #2, maybe #1 in Denver. I would expect Portis to get back to some of his Denver #'s this year and it all depends on how you do scoring. Do you get any points for receptions? If so, LaMont Jordan had the most out of any RB last year at I believe 60.
Personally, I would look to package a couple of players (especially Horn) and try to get LT, LJ, or Alexander.
If this is anything more than an 8 team league, there are some dumb managers in your league.

1-10...you get a 8.5/9. you are set at QB and WR. the only reason you don't get a 10 because i'm not sold on portis and dillon being in the top 5 runnings backs. but you made up for it in other places so it's hard to complain. i actually think jordon will be your most productive back this year....one of the most underrated RBs in the league.

I think if you reverse some of your starters with bench, you gotta a team. Take Holt over Horn. Take Hasselbeck over Palmer (considering injury). Cory Dillon might be a problem. They've been trying to replace him the past couple of years, but he keeps coming bacj, I loved Shockey the last couple. I fyou get some rb, depth I can give you a high score.

It has alot of room for improvment. You have no REALLY strong RB, depending on rules of your leage that can really hurt you, I'm not saying their bad RB's however you need one that is stronger. The rest of your team is solid though!
