I am usually a relatively pragmatic person, but I am also an artist, used to strange goings-on in my own mind.
I was recently attracted in a huge way to someone. Not just regular attraction, this man triggered some sort of primal body memory for me, something deep from a long time ago I didn't recognize at first. There was a built in trust in the situation that he didn't necessarily earn, it was something from my past I was projecting on to him.
Anyway, I felt a strong attraction I have never felt for anyone. I let him know in a letter, since we were no longer overlapping at a job we shared (I left the job for a better job). He never responded. No "thanks but no thanks", nothing. Wow, what a sharp pain to have the guts out there and no one lobbing the ball back. The thing is, I know he felt something, too. He apparently isn't willing to act on it or even be kind about it, really. It is cruel to leave someone out there, with their feelings revealed and not even the courtesy of a reply.
I think this is a great example of heart vs. head. I followed my heart and got burned. He followed his head and will never take the chance. Which one is better? I don't know. I feel at least I don't have that horrible feeling of "what if". I took a chance and it fell flat. I am crushed and horribly disappointed in the situation, and I wonder what emotionally crippled this man to the point he can't act on his own feelings or be kind to mine.
I will move on from the disappointment and live to make a fool of myself another day. I am not sorry for following my heart. I do think, however, that people who only follow their heads will look back with some regrets. There is no guarantee it'll work out, but the trying is the important thing. You can't win if you never try. I guess you can't lose, either..but you aren't really living then, are you?

Love is not something that is calm, sure and composed. It never has all the answers you are looking for. But for me, always and above all, follow your heart in relationships (even girl types). For if one never reaches for the stars then they never actually have a change to know what lies just beyond their reach.
You can be safe, you can be sure footed, but you will miss all the fun, the crazy moments, the spontaneity, the laughter, the tears, those very things that make a GOOD PRODUCTIVE LIFE. For how can you live a life other than just walking through it if you have not "loved with all your heart, and yes, even lost!"

Either way your azz gets dragged into it...
OK, so I am in a weird mood tonight.
"Just tonight?", they all chime in.
"Charming, thanks", I mutter.
Back to your question...
You know, if the human race all followed their minds instead of their hearts, the world would be a whole lot less populated. On the other hand, that would not be a bad thing.
Heart. Follow your heart on this one. It isn't a matter of how you think, it is a matter of how you feel.
Quit with the second thoughts and just go for it.
I really can't believe I am saying this, but I just have a feeling...
Really.
Go with the heart.

Follow your heart or head?? hmmm!!!
It is a fine line..
Your head is logical and helps you reason.. and your heart gives you the gut feeling.
Logic needs data to confirm and prove that what you are doing is right, while your heart just needs the instinct.
In short, it all depends on the situation..
Good Luck!! hope you make the right choice.

It is generally wiser to use your head. Logic is by far the wiser. But when you are dealing with an emotional issue, logic will fail. Both are need when making decisions. It comes down to what type it is and that is where true wisdom needs to be exercised.

Human body is the combination of body parties, like hands, head neck, nose, eyes.legs, extra, heart can not work by itself, same to head, in order to make decision body parties have to work together, therefore follow both for better conclusion.
Knowing that human body is like machine , you ca not separate an egine from a car and assume gear box itself can get a car move,

From experience (and not always good), it is best to follow a bit of both. Listen to your heart, but don't ignore what your head tells you...it can save you from a lot of grief.

When it comes to love, always follow your heart. My worst love experiences have taught me the best life lessons. All experiences, good or bad helps you to grow and evolve...It's more fun when you experience them with your heart.

The (theorically) right answer: balance.
My answer: follow your heart
