You are a Wyoming resident when you get a Wyoming driver's license and auto tags, establish residency in the State of Wyoming, register to vote in Wyoming or have safe sex with sheep in Wyoming. Watch out for Brokeback Mountain.

Usually people have to have in a place for 30 days before they can claim resident status.

I don't get it. If you're an American citizen, doesn't it make you an automatic citizen of Wyoming as soon as you move there? By the way, why would you wanna live there?
