They've been dumped by someone and their ego is deflated in a big way so they kill themselves to get sympathy and regret from people.

They like to go out with high drama. I have witnessed this type of suicide once. A guy shouted his girlfriends name from the top of his dormitory, and jumped to his death. (She had just broken up with him because he was a control freak.) He got the attention he was looking for, in his "grand finale", he just did it before the news crews could get there.
