You should throw a fit until they let you in a school building. =)

Seriously, contact the registrar's office or Headmaster's office and ask them to send you an equipment and materials list. It's traditional for schools to provide them for new students, so most schools are happy to oblige.

A will to learn & the drive to stick w/ it. Your teachers will give you a list of supplies that you'll need for their classes. Usually the school sends these out before school starts. If you don't get a list from the school, call & ask for one. Have a computer (w/ spellcheck) & a place to study.
