I only had one person pierce mine, but he pulled my tongue out with these tong like forceps, then he stuck a 14 gage needle through my tongue, then he popped in the bar bell. This is something that you need to have done by a professional, because there are areas on your tongue that you don't want to be sticking a needle through.

They hold on to your tongue with a heart shaped alligator clip and stick the needle in at the inside of the point.
Yes it hurts for 3 days but my upper part of my ear hurt every night for over a year and I took it out.
It does not hurt as bad as biting your tongue!!!!!

Well don't do it yourself if your planning on it. I really don't know i only got my ears pierced. But I think I've seen it once they take a metal sharp stick and put a whole in your tongue i think i dont remember.

they have you rinse your mouth out with listerine for a minute then they clamp your tongue, put the needle through, and at the end of the needle they pull the bar or whatever you're getting through

No one will ever do that to me, because I already have enough trouble as it is, without looking for something horrible to happen to my tongue. What possible reason can anyone have for doing this, except to impress someone else?

I do i got my tongue pierced like 6months ago n im 15 now...it doesnt hurt if you thinkin' bout gettin' one...i got white stud in mine now...
