When I lived in North Carolina we would pick a few leaves and just hang them up to dry and then crumble and role in papers. We tried making a Cigar but, I think the leaf we used to role it needed something, it just fell apart and not stick. You can moisturize with a Mist Bottle of Water. We were only 12 at the time, so, do not tell anyone.

OK here ya go...
First you cut it, then you take to the barn and hang it upside down til cured. Like over the rafters. Once cured it should be smokable. Don`t want direct light on it. Ya hang it like from the rafters or boards so air can flow around it. And dry it naturally. Then enjoy..
Hugs from Texas and God Bless. {;-)

You wait till it gets nice big buds on it..Then you pull it out by ruts and all..Then take it to the garage and hang the plants upside down untill they are very dry..It will be ready to smoke when the leaves crumble between your fingers..Break up the buds..They are the best to smoke..Or so I have been told!!

Hang the leaves upside down from the roof of your shed (by the stem) until dry (it will be leathery) then lay flat when done. Roll it up to make cigars or shred it to make cigarettes, finer shred makes pipe tobacco.

You take the leaves and hang them in a drafty barn for a while. Not sure how long, weeks to a few months I think. But they use barns that are specifically not sealed up tight (lots of gaps int eh walls) and hang them on poles in there.

Cut the whole plant down.Hang it to dry.You can air dry it,or even smoke it like meat to create" dark fire" .Smoked tobacco will turn almost black in color, but it gives a good flavor to a burley tobacco

think of crumbling dry leaves in the fall, and then dumping lots of chemicals into it, rolling it up, and selling it to suckers and bums on the street trying to look cool for 5 bucks a box
