Which of these would you choose to go to: Your grandma's who you don't see very often place or your drama groups (Consisting of 5 people including yourself) rehersal of the play which is due TOMORROW and you are one of the main characters in the play?

I'd just like to see what you'd do because i'm in a group where one of the girls is in that situation. She chose her grandmother over us.... What do you do!!??!

And the play is in the style of the Commedia dell'Arte. Don't what it is? Well, let's just say it's a type of that you have no script for BECAUSE THE WHOLE THING IS IMPROVISED, apart from there being a storyline, but that's about it.

I think I would go see my Grandmother. Especially if I didn't get to see her that often.
I am sure that she(you're friend there) must know the lines because it is one night before the big day! SO it's ok to miss the rehersal.
I say this because, if you have a family that you don't get to see very often, see them when you can. If you don't, something may happen to them and you'd regret that you haven't been there to share your life with them. I saw my Grandmother (My dad's mom) a lot less then my mom's mom, and my Grandmother passed away from a stroke. I felt really bad that she didn't know me as much as she could have. She didn't love far away, but for some reason, I just never went there. Soo now, I go to as many family things as I can. Family is EVERYTHING....

um i would SO do the play. She made a commitment, just because she had a last minuet thing that she thinks is more important is no reason to abandon the rest of her group. She wouldn't cut it in the real world- she would be fired like that. She has to figure out where her prioitys lie- point being she doesn't see them VERY OFFTEN meaning she sees them. She can still write and E-mail them. But... go easy on her

I would choose my grandmother because both of my grandmothers are deceased and I no longer have a chance to go see them, but the play will be forgotten before you know it.

don't really have allthe information required for an honest answer .. maybe she knows something is going on with her grandmother's health .. if so, and maybe, just maybe she missed a last chance to talk with granny, she would not forgive herself years later ... you need to look at things in presepctive, and perhaps family relations are more important to her ... and the fact that she *knows* more about what's going on there ...respect her choice and "on with the show"

try to do both (ex. go to your grandmothers then to the rehersal ,or have your grandmother go to the rehersel, or schedule another time for your grandma).
