The average price of petrol in Wales is 99.9p/litre but some petrol stations have gone above the 100p mark.

Even those without cars are affected. Bus fares go up when petrol costs rise. The cost of food rises as it cost more to distribute it to the supermarkets. Every shop puts it's prices up just to keep them making a profit.

Apathy.... we tried it once, it looked good, didn't change a bloody thing so why bother again ?

Individuals are intelligent but crowds are stupid. You might be disgusted at the petrol price, so am I, so is probably anyone you ask. But we're not clever when it comes to a mass protest. Perhaps we need more practice ?

Probably because they feel it won't do any good.

Incidentally, there was a World Naked Bike Ride held on 10 June (including London, Leeds and other UK cities) to protest against fuel dependency.

Maybe because people care about the environment more? Or know that a protest won't really change much? I dunno, but I won't be protesting.
