Yes...dreams are your minds way of attempting to resolve issues that are in your subconscious mind.

Possibly. I am not a psychiatrist, but essentially dreaming is the method that our minds use to often sort out problems and issues that we are dealing with. It is also a way that our constantly active minds relax.

While most people do not dream straight forward about what occurs during the day or what bothers them (a lot of symbolism plays out in dreams), we often dream about something that occurred recently.

Dreaming allows our minds to play out scenarios to provide solutions to problems in our waking life. It is up to the dreamer (and sometimes a psychiatrist trained in dream interpretation) to understand what problems are being played out in dream symbolism.

So for example, a dream about you falling may be symbolic of your fear of failing a big test you have coming up. A dream about being chased might be symbolic of your fear of a relationship you are in or committing to someone.

There is a lot of debate and books on whether dreams are really a window to our problems and psyche, but it may do you good to look some up.

I have no idea! Last night I had a dream that I was home, meeting my downstairs neighbors for the first time, because they had a small fire but couldn't open their door....but my parents were cleaning the house top to bottom, but my Dad's Limo was in the living room...just chillin in there. My cousin was over and I kept yelling at her and hitting her. I was also taking care of my other cousins baby....then there was a tornado, and we all had to go to the mall for shelter for like 4 days...my boyfriend was there and he was getting jealous because my ex was there and I haven't seen him in over 6 years....so friggen odd.....if Dreams provide solutions, then what the crap and I getting myself into in real life?? AAAHHHH. Seriously, what can all this mean??

Of course! Especially when you dream these problems, remember what you dreamed, how you dealt with these problems, and what the outcome was. It's true that a dream world doesn't function the same as the real world, but some of the best ideas have come from dreams.

There is speculation that dreams are a way of helping your brain sort out the days events. They might help in a sense by clearing up the confusion in your brain and reducing your stress and anxiety during the day.

Absolutely. I think that dreams can be a link into what lives inside that we cant see yet. Once I found something because I dreamt that I found it in a certain spot. Haha. Seriously, I have no idea.
