Do they often think your younger than you really are? I hate it when people do that. And do you often find that it's older people that guess your age wrong?

People have been estimating my age at younger than it is for most of my life. Not necessarily older people, pretty much everybody. When I was 16, and trying to get the attention of a 22-year-old (who has now been my husband for a decade), I didn't like looking like I was 11 or 12 years old. Now that I'm 29, I decided that looking like I'm in my early twenties (some would say late teens!), isn't such a bad thing. Hey, if I can look 30 when I'm 40, that would be great!

I don't usually have people guess my age. A woman on the bus asked if I was 15 when I was actually 18, but that was it. I'm close to 20 now, so I don't mind if someone thinks I look younger!

Yes I get carded now all the time.
It doesn't seem to matter both younger and older guess my age incorrectly. I think if the person is younger they are usually guessing closer to my real age than the older folks.

Yes, and I sometimes hate it, but then I enjoy the compliments, because being 29 and going to be 30 in 4 months, I love it when people think I'm 24 or 25, lol.

I've always looked younger than I really am (46). At my age it is a blessing, but I really had an attitude while I was in my 30's because professionally, I felt that people were judging my experience and wisdom based on my youthful appearance.

I find it's guys that guess my age wrong, and I think it's because they have figured out that if you guess a woman to be older than she is, she is generally insulted.
I am 35, but depending on how I'm dressed, I have been told I look 28. No lie.

If I wear make-up, they think im the age I am. If I dont wear it, then I look younger than my age. A lot of people think my mom is younger than she is. They mistake her for being 16-26 when she's really 42.

yes, hardly nobody gets my age right, but that's ok. i am always taken for younger than what i am. people who guess my age wrong are mostly guessing i am around their ages, so no, it's not older people in my case.

Yes my age gets guessed wrong more than right. I'm short (around 5 ft.) and i look young because of than but people say i act older because i'm around adults more than children. (I'm 16)
