I HATE ants so much. I know some people don't mind them, but they are the nastiest insect! Who else hates ants?
Have any gross ant stories to share?
I had them climbing in my window and all over my bed. I saw one and got grossed out, then I kept seeing a whole bunch! I got the pinesole and totally killed what I could until my friend brought me the Raid *shivers*

I was just grossed out by these little creepy,crawly things yesterday. I was moving my bird-bath and it is right by the peonies...OMG! You would have fainted for sure! There had to be thousands of them in one little spot,crawling all over each other. The more rocks I moved to level out the bird-bath,the more ants there were.
I also used to have ants in my bathroom a few years ago. I think they liked the hairspray?
They would march around the throw rug and then turn around and march back. Boring life for them...easy target for me!
Then I also had these uglier than sin ants in my bathroom again about 2 years ago. They were big black ants and had just an ugly loOK to them. If I had to guess...I would say they had teeth!
One more story ok 2,...1-The ant hills at our old house were loaded with ants and I use to love to run them over with the lawn mower!
2-When I was little I used to sit by this one tree at my parent's house and watch the ants work. They would carry itsy-bitsy pieces of wood out of the tree where they had burrowed holes. Then the ants at the bottom of the tree would carry the sawdust away. I used to wait til they had a big pile of sawdust and the ants were working their tails off,and I would knock down their pile and watch the ants scurry like crazy!

Sometimes it works to put a dab of Cinnamon in the corner of your cupboards, to keep them out . Wipe your kitchen counters down with vinegar . Outdoors , a mixture of of 1 part soap( Joy for dishes ) & 1 part water will kill ants on the pavement .

heres the scoop the small ants red and little are sugar ants and the bib black bodied are carpenter ants and they eat wood the others eat food and will keep coming so dust the entrances with boric acid or spray a premix from walmart for all types and put out traps from the walmart its cheaper there and i just did my house and my 3 neighbors

that's the end of him, i am afraid.
All kidding aside, I very much dislike ants, especially Fire ants. You haven't lived till you have an encounter with those vicious creepy, crawling, critters. I had an intrduction to them in Florida, no fun at all.

i do not mind ants.. they do not gross and disgust me like most bugs.. they are cute when drawn in cartoon form (at least mine are :))although there is a time and place for ants and inside the house is not one of them..
cooper likes to chase ants..

I think they were here before man was, and they'll be here long after man is gone. All we can hope to do is keep them at bay and out of our houses. Call an exterminator.
