Of course money comes from trees - at least the notes do!
Why? Notes are made of paper and paper comes from wood pulp, which comes from trees so, in a roundabout way, money does come from trees!
Perhaps banks have branches because money is the root of all evil?

The Bank is the Money Tree! If your a kid, asking mom and dad for more!
"Cant you just go to the bank and get more?!" Then comes the "Duh!" face.
