This is a trick question, right?
It all depends on where you are when you are looking at it. From Earth it is colored by the atmosphere and time of day. It can look like a creamy yellow or light blue or many colors in between.
The material of the moon is rock and igneous stone which has been pulverized by billions of years of bombardment and radiation. The surface is light or dark shades of redish grey. Pretty boring to anyone except a Lunologist. See pic in URL
The best time to look at the moon is when you are romantically involved and you and your partner can watch the full yellow moon rising over the rim of the distant mountains.
