I was a mess! I actually had to put the book away for five minutes so I could actually absorb the fact that he was gone. Just the idea of Harry lying there, helpless, and watching his greatest ally and teacher get killed when he was vulnerable and weak was heart breaking! The one sentence that really tore at me, though was the one that said something about seeing the greatest wizard Harry had known, or would ever known, lying there bent and broken, and about the last and greatest of his defenders being gone forever. Dumbledore was my very favorite character, and his death was wrong for such a great man.

sure ! I cried to boot the 1st time that I examine it. don't sense undesirable although - i'm 22 and that i became interpreting it throughout the day! LOL Dumbledore is my popular character. I nonetheless can no longer have faith that she killed him off. i be attentive to why she did it although. there's no way that Harry might desire to stand Voldemort on his very own with Dumbledore nonetheless alive... Dumbledore might shop shooting as much as shop him. Harry must be the grownup now. nonetheless ! Very unhappy... i'm no longer able to wait for the final e book. i'm going to be particularly unhappy to confirm the sequence end :(

I was shocked but not because he died...It was coming Harry was going to have to face Voldemort completely alone. I was shocked that Snape killed him. Snape is my favorite character. Every time he come into the story you know something interesting will be said or done. I don't think he is truly on the dark side.

I sobbed my way through the last two chapters. Sometimes, I'd think I'd gotten ahold of myself, and wiped away all my tears, but then I'd see some sentence like "and that was what told Harry that he was truly gone" and I'd lose it again.

So, no, you are most definitely not the only one who cried at that part of the book!

I teared up a little because I don't cry very easily. But he's definitely dead, so it was pretty sad.
