Nothing wrong with a civil union between any two consenting adults. The word "marriage" is a religious term describing the union of one man and one women, and just because gay people want to form a union shouldn't change the meaning of the word.

There is nothing wrong with gays wanting to marry. People endure marriage as one man and one woman because the Bible quotes it this way. All people deserve to be happy and enjoy a partnership even if it is through same sex. Love is not served to anyone on a silver platter. Everyone should enjoy marriage, or for those who are gay a civil union.

Who knows? All those who are against gay marriage are a$$holes! Let them get married. They're not hurting anyone. Can't wait to attend my friend, Reggie's wedding, if Congress ever says it's alright.

No offense meant to anyone.. It is because it is THE HOLY STATE OF MATRIMONY. It is a religious (Christian) ceremony and the bible declares it as a HOLY joining of a man and woman... Homosexuality in NOT holy..
You should have a civil ceremony of some type, YES, but not a HOLY ceremony..

first of all it is a sin to be gay. second, marriage is honerable in God's eyes when a MAN marries a WOMAN. God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve and not Abigail and Eve.

It is silly, some people think that being gay is a disease that will spread. They think that if they let gay people get married, some day everyone will end up gay...How dumb is that?

I think that for everyone there is someone and that if they chose that lifestyle that they do deserve to be happy too.Love knows no age,color or gender.If you find that special one no one on earth should be able to tell you ,you can't love them. Good luck to them all!
