Sleeplessness is caused sometimes by not eating enough. If you dont ever feel hungry and feel better when you dont eat, it might be the foods that you eat. Most people go too heavy on flour like pastries and bagels, try more meat for energy, and try to eat more. I have experienced loss of appetite from sadness, and when I was sad I could not stop thinking. Just maybe figure out whatever is making you think so hard, and in the meantime try to eat more, it will help.

Sounds like it might be an idea to go and see your Doctor. Do you spend a lot of time indoors? Do you exercise much? Fresh Air and activity can help both with appetite and with sleeping at night. Also, if you are sleeping during the day, you will find it difficult to sleep at night. But I would still recommend you see your Doctor.

Hope this helps.

Maybe you're in love, hahaha. I had the same thing, only with me it felt like I was blacking out every 10 sec. I went to the doctor and he told me I need to get some sleep, because I was working to hard and to long!! And he even said if I didn't sleep or couldn't sleep, he would check me into a hospital for a week. Well believe me, I went to bed and forced myself to sleep.

It sounds like your really stressed or depressed about something..what i do when i get this way, i take walks right before sunset and let my mind focus not on what i've done that day; but instead on nature about me...Trust me, listening to birds chirp and call and the lazy whine of the insects about you will relax you...if you find yourself in a park, sit down and watch the stars...close your eyes and let everything that is bothering you go as you take a deep breath in, then when you let it out, visualize your worries and stress going out of you with that breath...try it! and good luck!

Sounds like depression. Its best to talk to a doctor. You're not alone and it is treatable. Everone experiences some form of depression at some point in their life. Don't ignore it.

I had those symptoms and it turned out I had Broncitus (sp?) and the second time I had a bladder and urinary tract infection. I don't eat that much anyways, so I haven't ate for a while then.

i would go and see a dr. for depression. this is not a normal response and you need to find out or at least ackowledge what has changed in your life that you would react like this.
