Before you sign a contract, check with the Better Business Bureau and check out the contractors references. Basement waterproofing companies are notorious for ripping off consumers. Most states have some type of "consumer affairs" office, usually burien in the office of the States Attorney General. This office deals with consumer complaints and you can bet that basement waterproofing companies are very high on the list of "most frequent complaints". Do your homework before you sign anything.
