I know of a 14 yr. old who is going to be forced into terminating a pregnancy she wants to carry to term. The father which is 17 agrees and his parents say they will take custody after the baby is born so they may continue their education. Even though the parents are minors do they have any legal rights

Absolutely. You have the right to choose life for your child.
Don't have an abortion no matter what people tell you. You will regret that decision for the rest of your life. Go to a Catholic Church for help. May God reward you!!

The minor has the right to refuse an abortion in any state. She needs, along with the guy's parents, to contact a lawyer, immediately. She does not have to have the abortion, and can get a court order refusing it. Since someone who is stable is willing to take custody, a judge shouldn't refuse the order. Good Luck!!

Yes, kids have rights. If this pregnancy isn't threatening her life in any way, there is NO WAY anyone should force an abortion. I highly doubt it's legal to force an abortion under ANY circustances, providing she can carry to term without risking her own life or the life of the baby. I think whoever told you this wasn't very well informed. I hope so, at least.

Who is forcing her into this? She can't by law be forced into it, it's called the life and liberty womans act. She has the right to keep her baby if she wishes. No one can force you to have an abortion.

Yes you have legal rights. You need to contact right to life advocates. They would know all the laws. Its probably just your parents making you do this. Just move in with your boyfriends parents.

According to the law,She does have rights. She needs to seek legal counsel. She can fight this. It's same as forcing her to have a baby.

I don't know where the parents plan to take this girl for an abortion, but if she isn't willing, no reputable clinic is going to do it. She needs counseling.
