When you are in public and people are whispering and laughing and seemingly looking or pointing in your direction what should you do. I feel like going over and bluntly asking if they are talking about me, but if they are not, they may think I am a little paranoid (which I totally am)

Well lenny, good question. I am very ashamed of being paranoid, thus I don't want anyone to know.

I'd say, dont worry about it! Let people talk. If theyre talking about you it could be good things as well. Be laid back about it, and think to yourself, "Ya, I'm fabulous, they have every reason to talk." : D Enjoy life!!!

I completely understand what you are saying, and for the sake of not acting like a complete lunatic i just move from where i am so that i don't feel like anyone is speaking about me or watching me. But my paranoia derived from being betrayed by a friend, who constantly spoke about me behind my back ( and god alone knows who and what she said). So why don't you think about the root of the problem and try and resolve that, see why you are so paranoid? Maybe some insecurity you may have hidden inside of you?
The way I overcame it (or should I say I am in the process of overcoming it) is thinking to myself, well you know what, if they are by chance speaking about me...they seriously have nothing better to do....and that is the truth, people get jealous when they see things they can't have...or see people they wanna be like...just a thought, but it's a step in helping you overcome this paranoia
Good Luck!

La La La..you must be one cute babe to catch everyone's eyes. Anyhow, don't let it bother you too much. I often feel that way but I just remind myself that maybe they are noticing my shoes, glittery glasses or something that they might like. Maybe, just maybe it's not you that they are glancing at, try looking behind you. I once thought people were talking about me until I turned around. Ha. I still laugh till this day. Don't stress over it.

aww im sry. thats not nice and ppl are jerks so heres what u need to do.
If you go up to them thats only gonna make them talk about u more (or start if they werent)
so u just gotta turn ur back on them, and walk away.
Even a little chilly look will get the message across.
oyah and u gotta stop worrying about that kinda thing, hun.have a little confidence, lift up your head, and be proud of yourself

it's called passive aggresive ... they want to have control over you ... knowing they can. move on and let it roll off your shoulders! Have a good time with nice people, not people that need to "get a life" .... have fun!!
